Autism Service visit for Conference delegates
We were delighted to showcase our Autism service to a group of delegates from the 16th International Conference on the Care and Treatment of Offenders with an Intellectual and/or Developmental Disability recently.
The delegates who visited St Mary's Hospital, Warrington gave very positive feedback following the presentation and tour of the wards, garden and workshop area.
One delegate provided the comment below following the visit-
We were looked after very well. The speakers provided a wealth of information and background which was at a level our EU colleagues could translate and compare with their services. They catered for our needs with refreshments and lunch. The therapy/security/ward/management/staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It was kind of the patients to allow us access to their residences and they were clearly proud of their care at St Marys. The value base of the service was prominent and shown through the enthusiasm of the hospitals representatives
