Dee Unit opening ceremony
The team at St Cyril's Rehabilitation Unit were delighted to welcome Mr David Briggs, Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire to the opening ceremony of their new Dee Unit on Friday 16th September.
The new transitional ward provides an additional four beds and forms part of the pathway of care to help the patient reach the highest level of independence and functioning.
Afternoon tea was served and guests had an opportunity to look at the new ward, gardens and meet with the team from The Lilac Tree Centre, which is a new treatment for mild to moderate Alzheimers disease available in partnership with Neuronix.
As a thank you to our guest of honour, a donation was given to Cheshire Connect, which is Mr Briggs chosen charity.
