St Mary's Hospital

St Mary's Hospital in Warrington is a state of the art purpose built facility built to the highest specifications and is designed to meet the needs of patients with physical disabilities and/or sensory impairment.

Acquired Brain Injury Service

This service provides Cognitive neurorehabilitation programs of a high quality for hearing individuals with an Acquired Brain Injury.

This service provides an holistic neuro rehabilitation programme for the most challenging and complex brain injury patients with cognitive, behavioural and/or emotional problems. The unique design of St Mary's Hospital enables the highest possible quality of care to be provided within our secure facilities.St Mary's Hospital also provides Rehabilitation for Deaf people who require treatment under conditions of medium security our Care Pathway into low secure and open facilities continues at All Saints Hospital in Oldham.

Adult Autism Inpatient Service (NEW)

Our Adult Autism Inpatient Services is for male and female patients with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC) with or without Learning Disabilities (LD). Patients will have a primary diagnosis of an ASC or LD and may present with other Co-morbid conditions and/or a history of challenging behaviour. The service will provide a safe and effective care programme using a person centred approach, with the aim of achieving fulfilling and rewarding lives.

Care Pathway provisions:

  • Locked male inpatient service
  • Locked female inpatient service

The gender specific wards are designed to offer spacious, low stimulus, locked environments, with the aim of optimising the patient's individual abilities. Staff will work to enhance the development of social awareness, independent life skills, emotional management and help to promote community relationships, while assessing and managing risk.
