Rehabilitation Facilities

St Cyril's Rehabilitation Unit is a brand new facility, offering twenty en-suite patient rooms, including four high dependency suites, a wide range of specialist equipment and large day rooms. In addition to our twenty en-suite patient rooms, St Cyril's offers two purpose built bungalows to promote independent living and community transition situated in landscaped grounds with a beautiful sensory garden.

This unit provides rehabilitation beds for patients with complex neurological and rehabilitation needs, and will accept patients needing longer term specialist rehabilitation, continuing care or respite.

Our staff are trained in managing patients who may present with challenging behaviours due to acquired brain injury and we have input from a Consultant Neuropshychiatrist.

The unit is also equipped with a fantastic purpose-built hydrotherapy suite with specialist hoists and therapy equipment.

We have a highly skilled rehabilitation team, which includes a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine, Neuropsychologist, Physiotherapists, Occupational therapist and Speech and Language therapists, in addition to a nursing and health care team. We are delighted to offer short and long-term inpatient specialist services for adults with complex neurological disorders, in addition to a range of out-patient services including hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, and spasticity management.
