St Cyril’s Rehabilitation Unit is the latest development to St George Health Care Group’s specialised rehabilitation facilities located in Chester.
The unit cares for people with neurological and other conditions that require fast and slow stream rehabilitation, long term continuing care and time banded respite care.
The unit welcomes referrals for rehabilitation of most acute and long term neurological conditions such as:
- Acquired Brain Injury
- Stroke
- Spinal Injuries
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Neurodegenerative Disorders
- Neuromuscular Disorders
- Spasticity management programme (including chemodenervation)
- Low awareness/vegetative state assessment
- Chronic Fatique Syndrome (CFS/Me) inpatient rehabilition programme
- Specialist Multiple Sclerosis relapse service
- Chronic pain management programme
- Independent living facilities to enable smooth transition to community living
