Official Opening of New Adult Autism Inpatient Service

Friday 3rd February 2012 10:00am to 1:00pm

We are delighted to announce the official opening of our new Adult Autism Inpatient Services for male and female patients with Autistic Spectrum Conditions at St Mary's Hospital, Floyd Drive, Warrington WA2 8DB. The service will provide a safe and effective care programme using a person centred approach, with the aim of achieving fulfilling and rewarding lives. During the open day, you will have the opportunity to tour our new Leo and Hopkins wards, learn about our service whilst receiving detailed clinical presentations from our team and guest speaker.

Next NoWABIF meeting to be hosted at St Mary's Hospital

St Mary's Hospital in Warrington is to host the next NoWABIF meeting on Monday 23rd January 2012 from 12.30-2.30pm. Our guest speaker will be Dr Czarina Kirk Consultant Neuropsychiatrist specialising in ABI. O2 Health are sponsoring our meeting and will be providing lunch/refreshments.

New Challenging Behaviour Service Open Day

We are delighted to announce the official opening of The Westminster Suite, the new dedicated Challenging Behaviour Service at St Cyril's Rehabilitation Unit, Countess of Chester Health Park, Liverpool Road, Chester CH2 1HJ on Monday 5th December 2011 from 11.00am to 4.00pm. You will have the opportunity to view our purpose built unit andlearn about our service whilst receiving detailed clinical presentations from our team and guest speaker.

Meeting Planned

St Mary's Hospital Warrington will be playing host to an Academic meeting entitled 'Forensic aspects of Autistic Spectrum Disorder' on 1st November 2011. Planned is an afternoon of key speakers including Mr Richard Mills (Director of Research, National Autistic Society)

Westminster suite opening

On the 5th December 2011 St Cyril's Rehabilitation Unit in Chester will be opening its purpose built 'Westminster suite' a unit that will dedicate its work to Challenging Behavior.
