PA to the Hospital Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a keen, self motivated, hardworking, preferably experienced Medical Secretary/PA to provide a comprehensive secretarial service for our Hospital Manager. You must be able to work well as part of a team and have proven secretarial experience. The role demands excellent organisational skills and the ability to be flexible and sometimes to work to tight deadlines. You should be qualified to RSA III standard or the equivalent. You should be capable of undertaking a demanding workload, be proficient in audio typing, computer skills, minute taking and possess a flexible approach to working. Associate Specialist in Psychiatry

Applicants will have full GMC Registration, and a minimum for 3 years psychiatric training. Membership of The Royal College of Psychiatrists is essential. Approval under Section 12 of The Mental Health Act (1983) is necessary. British Sign Language (BSL) skills are desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Experience in Mental Health and Deafness is desirable but not essential. Experience in Forensic Psychiatry is desirable. The successful applicant will be supported by a MDT including nurses, a psychologist, OT, SW and work in association with a Consultant Psychiatrist in a challenging and fulfilling role with an opportunity to develop an innovative range of skills.
